Today, we initiated a short position in the Nifty 50 index by purchasing the 22,600 Put option at a premium of ₹385. Our strategy included setting a target profit of 30 points and a stop-loss of 20 points. The market experienced a significant bullish movement, allowing our target to be achieved swiftly. It's important to note that in options trading, a put option grants the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to sell the underlying asset at a predetermined price within a specified timeframe.
